In 2009, Cyrille Smith started working at EMI Publishing, where she was a music consultant for the production music department. After that, she joined Imagem Music to successfully start up the new production music department in the Netherlands. With three years of experience in production music, she wanted to learn more about pop music and so she started as a Junior Creative Manager at BMG Rights Management. Here she worked with artists like Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Thomas Azier and Wende focussing on both label and publishing side. Cyrille was eager to learn more on music rights and that is why she started working as a Relations Manager at neighbouring rights society Sena in 2013. Here she was able to expand her network in a very rapid way, being the go-to person for Dutch artists and labels. In 2017 she started working as a manager, together with Jacco van Lanen, building the careers of folktronic artist LUWTEN and pianist Annelie.
